RPET, a yarn extracted from waste plastic bottles and then woven into a polyester fabric. Because RPET and RPET Felt are essentially recycled plastic, they both help us make use of the large volumes of waste PET plastics available, as it is one of the easiest plastics to recycle.

Producing RPET Felt involves taking loose fibers of the plastic and “needling” them together in a needle-loom full of barbed needles which forces the fibers to push through and entangle themselves. Heat, pressure or moisture is used along with needle entanglement to hold the felt together, thus making a fine fabric ready. RPET Felt can made into soft, hard, stiff, plain or colored fabric based on the requirement. This process results in very minimal wastage which is in tune with our vision of economic development by eco-friendly means.
